Typhoon Haiyan hit the central Philippines Friday 11/8/2013 , affecting 4.3 million people and leaving an estimated 330,000 people homeless. Extranomical Tours has donated towards helping feed and shelter those affected by this tragic event through The Phillipine National Red Cross. Employees at Extranomical Tours have been attending the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge since the year 2011. In 2012, the company has donated $535 with a team of 11 in the 3.5 mile race, consisting of 10,000 participants in support of the Larkin Street Youth Services. For several years, Extranomical Tours has volunteered at the Potrero Community Center to help the mentally disabled seniors who have Down Syndrome. Founder Rodrigo as Santa Claus at the community center in both images.
Thomas House is a non-profit, temporary shelter available to homeless families of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Located in an apartment complex in Garden Grove, CA, the Thomas House Program assists families in becoming self-sufficient.
Extranomical Tours donated tour tickets to be auctioned off at a fundraising event for the Thomas House. Thomas House relies on contributions and volunteers to continue their mission. If you are interested in helping, you can find out more information here.
|The gang here at Extranomical LOVES Thanksgiving! And what better way to give thanks than to take part in a community outreach program that provides Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate? Most recently, Extranomical Tours has made a donation to support Igor Petreski. Igor is a 20 year-old college student from Macedonia. Whilst in Austin, Texas as part of the International Summer Work and Travel program, Igor suffered a severe Spinal Cord injury. Throughout the year, Extranomical Tours donates our unclaimed lost and found items to those who are less fortunate.
